Sporting Chance Announces Plans for Southern Arizona Indoor Sports Center
The dream of a multi-court indoor sports center devoted to organized youth basketball and volleyball took a giant leap forward today (August 18, 2008) when the Pima County Board of Supervisors approved the basic structure of a Public-Private partnership to design, construct and operate a new facility planned for the Curtis Park area, around River Rd. and La Cholla. The project is being spearheaded by Sporting Chance and a new non-profit organization, Southern Arizona Community Sports, Inc.
